WHAT IS CEREC TECHNOLOGY?

The CEREC® is a computerized mill in the office that cuts the crown out of a solid block of material based upon specifications generated from a digital impression taken of the prepped tooth. The milling process typically takes about thirty minutes to complete. The CEREC® is capable of milling dental crowns, dental veneers, dental inlays and onlays and dental bridges.

With CEREC® one-visit restorations, there is no need for an uncomfortable temporary crowns, veneers, or other restorations. While your dentist is scanning your teeth the image is upload to the CEREC software which produces a precise 3D image. The CEREC then produces a precise crown based on these virtual images.
Our dentist will analyze the image and skillfully will design the most accurate restoration of your tooth.
Lastly, our in-house grinding and milling machine uses the image to produce a ceramic crown that is completely customized to your exact needs.
