WHAT IS CEREC TECHNOLOGY?

The CEREC® is a computerized mill in the office that cuts the crown out of a solid block of material based upon specifications generated from a digital impression taken of the prepped tooth.  The milling process typically takes about thirty minutes to complete.  The CEREC® is capable of milling dental crowns, dental veneers, dental inlays and onlays and dental bridges.

Step 1

While your dentist is scanning your teeth the image is upload to the CEREC software which produces a precise 3D image.  The CEREC then produces a precise crown based on these virtual images.

Step 2

Our dentist will analyze the image and skillfully will design the most accurate restoration of your tooth.

Step 3

Lastly, our in-house grinding and milling machine uses the image to produce a ceramic crown that is completely customized to your exact needs.
