Aaron Holtan, DMD
Sun City West Dentist Dr. Aaron Holtan joined the Burns Dentistry team at our Sun City West dental office in 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University, and a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences (M.A.) degree from Midwestern University.
Dr. Holtan was born in Wyoming and grew up there and Colorado. His mother and father are in the medical field and inspired him to work in medicine. His father is a radiologist and his mother is the former Dean of Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. After being an E.M.T and working in ND in the oil field Dr. Holtan gravitated to Dentistry. He likes to say “Dentistry found me at the perfect time of my life to accept and fully embrace all that dentistry has to offer.” He currently enjoys working with the wonderful patients at Burns Dentistry.
When he’s not working, Dr. Holtan enjoys spending time outside with his soon to be fiance and their Sphynx cat who will soon be joined by a 2nd Sphynx! He has also been involved with numerous charities and events, including being involved with the Big Brother Big Sisters of America for six years. Dr. Holtan has had the same “little” brother since he was 8 years old. Together, they enjoy visiting fire stations and meeting with firefighters to help him achieve his dream of being a firefighter.
Favorite Procedure: “I enjoy any Surgical or Cosmetic oriented case, although I enjoy ALL aspects of dentistry and meeting patients. Limited Exams are also one of my favorite things to do because it gives us the opportunity to help someone and potentially alleviate their pain.”
Fun Fact: “I can juggle! I also play Ice Hockey and am currently using Invisalign clear aligners.”
If He Could Travel Anywhere: “Japan in the winter to ski their amazing powder! Other destinations I would like to visit would be Fiji, Greece and Italy.”
