Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Denise moved to Arizona in 2006. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking with her dog Luna and exploring the beautiful outdoor areas in Arizona.
Dental Expertise & Passion:
Denise brings over 32 years of dental experience and has been a valued member of the Burns Dentistry team for the past 3 years. In 2006, she became one of the first dental hygienists in Arizona to earn her laser certification, highlighting her commitment to staying at the forefront of dental care.
She specializes in comprehensive periodontal care and therapy, with a strong focus on preventive and non-surgical treatment approaches. Denise is also highly skilled in utilizing advanced dental technologies such as iTero® digital scanning to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
Passionate about patient education, she enjoys showcasing the benefits of Invisalign® through cutting-edge digital imaging, helping patients better understand their treatment options and outcomes. Denise’s dedication to clinical excellence and compassionate care ensures a positive and informed experience for every patient.

A lifelong soccer player since age 5, Denise has recently taken up pickleball as a new hobby.

Born and raised in Arizona, Felicia is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, going to the movies, hiking, scrapbooking, and attending concerts. She loves taking her three Weimaraners and mini pins on adventures and caring for her adorable two-year-old niece. Halloween is her favorite holiday, and she recently celebrated a big milestone—buying and remodeling a new home with her high school sweetheart.

Felicia has 6 years of experience assisting in pediatric dentistry and 4 years as a dental hygienist. She joined Burns Dentistry in 2022 and specializes in periodontal therapy, helping patients improve and maintain healthy gums. She takes pride in seeing her patients’ mouth health improve, especially when they see their improved probe scores after following her home care recommendations.

She especially enjoys Full Mouth Debridement, finding it really rewarding to remove heavy buildup and see such a dramatic before-and-after difference. Melissa wants to fix up an old 1950's Volkswagon van! She also spent a summer during college working on a popular ranch where she learned how to operate heavy machinery.
